Fortune has named Lear Corporation as one of the world’s most admired companies. This is the sixth year in succession that the automotive components supplier, owner of automotive leather manufacturer Eagle Ottawa, has featured in the magazine’s list.
Lear was the highest-ranked US-based supplier in the motor vehicle parts category, taking fourth place overall.
“Our team is focused on providing customers with compelling solutions for improved mobility experiences and giving back to the communities where we live and work,” said chief executive, Ray Scott. “Our success is based on a commitment to safety, diversity, ingenuity and integrity.”
Achievements that Lear Corporation said had helped it earn a place on Fortune’s latest list for 2022 included automotive industry awards for quality, customer service, innovation, diversity and workplace culture, and the establishment of new joint ventures and partnerships.
In addition, Lear employees have worked to help people and the planet by organising free vaccination clinics, donating food and planting trees in countries around the world.
