The International Council of Leather Industrialists (ICT), the global organization of the leather production industry and trade organizations in the world, was established in 1926 to facilitate, regulate and encourage international trade in the leather sector. Bekir Burak Uyguner, President of the Turkish Leather Industrialists’ Association (TDSD), who was elected president of the 97-year establishment, also contributed to the development of the Turkish leather industry.
Organized by the International Council of Leather Industrialists (ICT), the 6th World Leather Congress, planned to be held in 2024, will also take place in Turkey.
