TFL announced that it has become the Silver Sponsor of the IULTCS Eurocongress, which is planned to be held in Vicenza, Italy between 18-20 September 2022.
IULTCS International Congress will explore the future of leather technologies with up-to-date technical and scientific developments under the theme “Rinascimento: The next leather generation”, and include topics such as new chemical developments, innovative manufacturing technologies, new test methods and of course a focus on several environmental aspects linked to the world of leather.
TFL is a multinational chemical company offering its products and innovative solutions to tanneries, leather processing companies and coaters always striving to introduce fresh ideas on the market. Its business consists of the development, production and marketing of specialty chemicals such as tanning agents and dyestuffs with which their customers, mainly tanneries, are contributing to create an attractive end article such as leather automotive interior.
As globally operating company producing specialty chemicals for the leather industry, TFL will be part of this major event and take the chance to become one of the protagonists with an abstract dedicated to retanning chemistry made out of tannery by-products, an economically and environmentally feasible way of recycling leather by-products into a decentralized production. This approach completely eliminates any of the costs involved in transporting the materials to recycling companies or for disposal.
Dr. Wolfgang Schütt, CEO of the company, expressed himself as follows about this important participation: “We at TFL are happy that even in these difficult times we do not lose the insight that technology, research and innovation is an important driver of the leather industry. The results will help to further improve the quality, safety and environmental compatibility of our products, our customers’ products and processes. We love the product leather and therefore it’s also very important for us to raise the awareness for leather as a natural and sustainable material.”
TFL is looking forward to welcoming you to the III IULTCS Eurocongress!
