Announced the opening of Stahl’s Performance Coatings Lab in Japan on July 25. Stahl CEO Maarten Heijbroek attended the opening of the new facility.
Stahl, a leader in special coatings and treatments for flexible surfaces and chemical analysis in the leather industry, has been operating in Japan for over 30 years and opened this new 500 square meter facility, located in the famous Kanagawa Science Park, 2 km from Tokyo.
Having achieved rapid growth in the last five years, Stahl aims to further accelerate the field of Performance Coatings with the new laboratory, located within a famous R&D complex that hosts 40 well-known brands. It has taken steps to build on this success and drive future innovations.
At the event held on July 25, Nissan Motor Corporation Senior Vice President of Global Design Alfonso Albaisa gave a keynote speech about the future of automobile interiors.
