Première Vision Paris, which organizes global events for fashion professionals, will hold its special event for the Leather, Textile and Accessories sectors, Blossom Première Vision, at the cultural center ‘Le Carreau du Temple’, one of the symbols of Paris, on 13-14 December. Additionally, the Première Vision Paris Fair will be held in Paris Nord Villepinte between 6-8 February 2024.
As part of the event, approximately 70 international professionals from Italy, Japan, China, Turkey, Spain, Bangladesh and France are exhibiting their Spring-Summer 25 pre-collections. Blossom Première Vision represents fruitful dialogue on the sustainability agenda, such as the preview of leather and accessories and raw material production processes.
Increasing emphasis is being placed on ornaments, recycling and upcycling as recycled high-end textiles and accessories. Products designed using threads from recycled textile waste are exhibited in accessories such as embroidery products for decorative recycling purposes.
Although many products are exhibited in the field of sustainability, leather stands out as the focal point. Tanning methods are generally less diverse in this sector, where species such as crocodile, python, ostrich and shagreen are used as exotic leathers. However, new developments such as La Patrie, which has invested in research and development for non-toxic exotic leathers and is LWG gold certified, now make it possible to supply metal-free tanned exotic leathers. These new methods offer real health benefits in addition to lower environmental impact. Leather is particularly suitable for products that are in constant contact with the wearer’s skin, such as watch straps.
