İHKİB has unveiled a new initiative titled “Twin Transition in the Apparel Supply Chain”, aimed at accelerating the digital and green transformation of Türkiye’s apparel sector. The project is supported by the İSTKA under its 2025 Twin Transition Financial Support Programme.
Planned as a 12-month programme, the project will be implemented under the coordination of İHKİB, in cooperation with the TİM. More than 20 apparel manufacturers, along with representatives from related institutions and global brands, are expected to take part.
Within the scope of the initiative, İHKİB’s Digital Transformation Center (DDM) will expand its role and operate as a Digital and Green Transformation Service Point throughout the project period. This structure is designed to provide suppliers with structured, hands-on support tailored to international market requirements.
Key components of the programme include assessments of companies’ operational and sustainability maturity levels, the development of transformation roadmaps, mentoring and advisory services, and online seminars covering digitalisation and sustainability topics. Participating firms will also receive guidance on accessing European Union and national funding mechanisms, as well as consultancy opportunities.
In addition, a Twin Transition Council will be established to bring together national and international stakeholders, ensuring alignment with export market expectations and contributing to broader sector-wide transformation strategies.
The roadmap, which consists of ten core activities, will conclude with an international conference titled “Türkiye in the Twin Transition of the Apparel Supply Chain”, highlighting Türkiye’s vision and progress in digital and green transformation on a global stage.
