This August, Istanbul will once again become the meeting point of the global fashion industry. The 8th edition of IFCO – Istanbul Fashion Connection, taking place from August 20–22, 2025, will gather over 250 exhibitors and more than 30,000 professional visitors from more than 100 countries. Covering all fashion segments—womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, denim, footwear, accessories, sportswear, and homewear—the fair positions itself as one of the most comprehensive B2B fashion events.
One of the highlights of the event, The Core Istanbul, will showcase collections from 24 leading Turkish designers including Arzu Kaprol, Mehtap Elaidi, Hatice Gökçe, Meltem Özbek, and avant-garde label Sudi Etuz. This exclusive platform will present the creativity, craftsmanship, and global vision of Turkish fashion to international buyers.
The fair will also feature trend zones and a seminar program curated by Istanbul Moda Academy (IMA). These trend showcases will present forward-looking insights into seasonal colors, silhouettes, and fabric innovations. The seminar program, opened by Tatiana Aldrich of WGSN, will cover key topics such as Gen Z’s influence on fashion culture, conscious luxury, digital transformation, and future design strategies.
Turkey’s womenswear sector, known for its creativity, fast production capabilities, and sustainable practices, will be a major focus, while leading menswear brands such as DS Damat, Kiğılı, and JAKAMEN will present contemporary collections that combine tailoring traditions with modern trends. The childrenswear segment, increasingly focusing on organic and eco-friendly materials, is also on the rise with growing export potential.
