British footwear and sportswear brand Gola Classics has teamed up with Japanese menswear label Engineered Garments for a special capsule collection for the Fall/Winter 2025 season. Inspired by the English roots of squash and Gola’s strong legacy, the collaboration reinterprets a classic design for today’s style-conscious audience.
At the center of the collection is the Match sneaker from Gola’s 1977 archive, reimagined by Engineered Garments founder Daiki Suzuki. The updated model features a practical elastic panel across the laces, making it easy to slip the sneakers on and off.
Available in four shades – navy, Sudan brown, gum white, and all-black – the color palette is crafted to complement autumn wardrobes. The silhouette combines suede and cotton corduroy uppers with toe panel details, plain mesh lining, cushioned insoles, and Gola’s signature sawtooth wingflash. A co-branded tongue label featuring the Gola for Engineered Garments logo completes the design.
The Gola x Engineered Garments Match capsule will launch on September 5, retailing at $150 USD. It will be sold exclusively on the Gola and Engineered Garments e-commerce platforms, as well as at Nepenthes New York.
This collaboration coincides with Gola Classics’ 120th anniversary. Founded in 1905 as a performance and sports footwear producer, Gola continues to blend tradition with modern innovation.
