Following the fair in January, efforts to expand the Gardabags format were announced, starting with the June edition, which will run its 103rd edition from June 14-17, 2025.
Expo Riva Schuh & Gardabags, Europe’s long-established trade fair for footwear, leather goods, accessories and bags, will present its 103rd edition from June 14 to 17 with a series of innovative expansions.
Organized by Fierecongressi SpA in Riva del Garda, Expo Riva Schuh & Gardabags is the most important international fair dedicated to bulky footwear, leather goods and accessories, with 41 countries represented among exhibitors and numerous visitors from more than 100 countries.
To underline the thesis that Expo Riva Schuh & Gardabags is a global center for footwear and bags, numbers once again come to our aid, Roberto Pellegrini, President of the Fierecongressi of Riva del Garda, recalls: “The ability of the fair to attract operators in the sector from all over the world was confirmed. In fact, exhibitors come from 36 countries, while visitors come from nearly 100 countries – 80% from Europe, 12% from Asia, with stable arrivals from the Americas and Oceania, while attendance from the African continent is growing”.
It continues to offer excellent business opportunities, providing information on international markets and innovations for the retail sector. Alessandra Albarelli, General Manager of Fierecongressi Riva del Garda: “The figures that make us realize that it also represents an inevitable reference point for the footwear and accessories sector. “Being the first to open the 2025/26 winter season is undoubtedly a winning element and has been very appreciated by buyers”.
For the 103rd edition, the new format and expansion of Gardabags has been organized to ensure easy access for both exhibitors and visitors to the A2 and B2 pavilions of the fair from June 2025.
The area dedicated to bags, suitcases and accessories includes exhibitors from Bangladesh, China, Germany, India, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Taiwan and Turkey. The market focus will foster conversations on fashion and trends, innovation appointments and collaborations.
The Innovation Village Retail, created in collaboration with Retail Hub, will also include international start-ups focusing on venture, technological innovations in the sector.
The Expo Riva Schuh & Gardabags’ 50 years “1974-2024”, which was presented in 1974-2024, and which has realized 100 successful initiatives, will close with a Summer Nights Celebration following the fair in its 103rd edition.
