ECCO has made a revolutionary breakthrough in leather design, transforming innovative, high-quality leathers into a digital format, with digitized leathers specially crafted to inspire and elevate design projects, with Leather’s signature quality and innovation at your fingertips. Designers will be able to seamlessly integrate digitized skins into their workflows with files compatible with common software programs. The digital format, which also allows changing colors and materials, also minimizes environmental impact by reducing the need for sampling.
While the fashion world is constantly on the lookout for circular methods, material manufacturers go largely unnoticed. ECCO Leather, which builds its production mainly on design and sustainability, plans to change all this with the introduction of ECCO LEATHER Vault, a store open to the public, entrepreneurs, independent creators and students. All of the available leather was designed in the Ecco Leather studio and curated by the in-house design team.
